A resilient 18x7 IWRC construction and wire tensile ranging from 1770 MPa (115 Long Tons/In2) to 2000 MPa(130 Long Tons/ In2) provide the necessary strength and reliability to operate up to depths of approximately 2000 ft.(610 m). A specialized Line Contact Design (LCD) improves performance and reduces internal cross cutting damage, common to other multi-strand products. In the crane and industrial industry, the WRI® PS 620 rope is a general purpose 6 strand galvanized rope produced with a steel core, fully lubricated during manufacture produced in accordance with EN 12385. In underground mining, specially selected wire tensile grades and 6 strand construction enhance wear resistance. Specially formulated lubrication enhances wear properties, increases rope performance, and reduces environmental impact due to fly-off and the calibrated cut lengths and custom pad eyes simplify installation and reduce down-time. Bridon® 35LS is a conventional low rotation resistant rope consisting of three layers of strands the inner two layers spun in the opposite direction to the outer layer of strands manufactured in accordance with EN 12385.
